Vineet has over 16 years of experience in the education and service industry, including 7 years of experience in leading and managing complex global projects with strong stakeholder management, planning, and execution skills through research and analysis and Lean Six-Sigma concepts to improve the efficiency and quality through automation. Vineet Kumar is a graduate from the BSc. program at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut, India. After convocation in June 2001, Vineet took a position at a school, in New Delhi India and has worked with such an amazing group of children as a music teacher. He is an MGM (Master of Global Management) candidate from Royal Roads University, Victoria.
Vineet originally comes from New Delhi, India, where he started his Bachelor of Science at Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Eager to experience a different work environment, he moved to corporate world and joined IBM as a service industry. After years of experience, he joined Genpact – GE Healthcare as a project leader and explored project management more and more.
Since joining the company, Vineet has obtained his certification of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with Genpact India Pvt Ltd, Advance certification in Rapid Process Automation from Automation Anywhere, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute and has become more and more convinced of the importance of project/program management. Before moving to Canada to pursue Master of Global Management, he was working as a program manager (post-market, medical devices) for GE Healthcare business. He is passionate about his work! He is looking forward to the challenges presented by the PMIVI board and the opportunity to enhance his skills and get to know other project management professionals from around the world.
Vineet is a friendly, outgoing individual who loves to make new friends. In his spare time, he enjoys Indian cooking and classical music. He is a trained classical singer.
