Amanda is a leader and senior project manager with over 12 years of experience leading IT and change initiatives for government organizations, private and public companies in the industries of health care, education, and transportation. Currently a Senior Consultant with CGI Victoria, Amanda fills various roles when engaging with clients such as Senior Project Manager, Change Manager, and Management Consultant.
Previous to joining CGI, Amanda spent 12 years as an independent consultant in Vancouver. Some recent projects that she has undertaken include: consultation services to the PHSA Lower Mainland Consolidation desktop refresh initiative, St. Paul’s Hospital pharmacy upgrade project, and UBC Hospital’s Sleep Clinic; implementation and adoption of a clinical information system at BC Children’s & Women’s hospitals; and implementation of patient registration systems at Mary Pack’s Arthritis Clinic and the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addictions. Amanda has also held acting leadership roles within the IT department at Provincial Health Services Authority. Having spent time in both the project and operations world, with a keen eye to Organizational Change Management, Amanda approaches projects from a holistic and strategic perspective.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science (2000) degree from the University of Victoria and Master of Business Administration (2013) from the Royal Roads University. She attained PMI PMP accreditation in October 2007 and Prosci Change Management Certification in 2013.
