PMI Vancouver Island Chapter

History

Chapter History

Chartered in February 1996 with 46 founding members, the chapter was created to serve PMI members on Vancouver Island (and the Yukon territory), and the community of practitioners and users of project management services in those areas.

Our Chapter’s volunteer Board of Directors is elected or re-elected at the Annual General Meeting each year.

The chapter continues to grow and reflect the private and public sector’s increasing reliance on solid project management practices. Our membership background is diverse with expertise spanning; government, IT, hospitality, construction, non-profit and various other sectors.
