Project Management Volunteers (PMV) is an organization that supports non-profit organizations within the community, by connecting them with project managers who are looking to give back. Project Management Volunteers, Vancouver Island (PMV VI) is the newly established branch of PMV.
In partnership with the Project Management Institute (pmi.org) Vancouver Island chapter, PMV VI brings together Vancouver Island non-profits and project managers by providing tools and training for planning and execution of successful non-profit projects.
As a project manager, volunteering to share your professional skills and knowledge will broaden your experience and create meaningful engagement in the community. Earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) while expanding your professional network and career opportunities.
For non-profit organisations, hiring a volunteer project manager would provide critical professional support for your projects.
