What's Included in my Registration? 

Registration fees include access to all conference sessions, breakfast, refreshment breaks, and lunch!

 

How can I access Member Pricing?

What if multiple people from my Organization are interested in attending? 

We offer a group rate! If 3 or more members from the same organization are attending, book together and receive a 10% discount on all ticket types. Contact us for more info: conference@pmivi.org

 

***I am a student, how do I become eligible for student pricing? 

To determine eligibility for the student rate, please review the below criteria and contact academics@pmivi.org with proof of your student status at a recognized post-secondary institution via email. Once reviewed, you will receive a unique promo code to be applied at checkout. 

  • Student Rate Criteria for Conference Registration:
    - The registrant must not be currently employed full-time.
    - The registrant must be enrolled in a full-time program at a recognized post-secondary institution.
    - Limit of 10 registrants for the student rate.
    Definition of "Post-Secondary Institution": A "recognized post-secondary institution" refers to an educational establishment that is accredited in Canada.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Generally, fees are non-refundable. If you have questions/concerns/extenuating circumstances, please contact conference@pmivi.org.

As a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, we are always looking for support for our chapter and events! Please reach out to us at conference@pmivi.org

 

I'm interested in speaking at the event. Who do I contact? 

We love to partner with our PM community and have our own membership and guests be the voice of our events. Please refer to the Call for Speakers page for details on how you can participate. 

 

I unfortunately cannot make it. Will there be a livestream? 

This year's event will be taking place in-person to drive collaboration, community, and connection. However, PMI Vancouver Island holds a variety of events throughout the year, virtually, in-person, recorded, etc! Our events welcome both members and non-members. Stay up-to-date by regularly checking our event calendar

Photo and Video Consent

All participants hereby consent to the use of their likeness, including but not limited to photographs and videos, taken during the conference. Participants understand and agree that these photographs and videos may be used by the conference organizers for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media posts, brochures, and other promotional materials.

Participants further acknowledge that they will not receive any compensation or royalty for the use of their likenesses in the photographs and videos.

If participants wish to refrain from being photographed or filmed during the conference, it is their responsibility to inform the conference organizers in writing prior to the start of the conference. The conference organizers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but cannot guarantee that all photographs or videos will be excluded.

Participants release the conference organizers, volunteers, and any third parties acting under their authority, from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of or related to the use of their likeness in the photographs and videos.
