Project Management Volunteers (PMV) & Social Impact
PMI Global is encouraging changemakers to support our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact and advancing the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals through Hours for Impact. These goals are designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
Project Management Volunteers (PMV) is an organization that supports non-profit organizations within the community, by connecting them with project managers who are looking to give back. Project Management Volunteers, Vancouver Island (PMV-VI) is the newly established branch of PMV.
In partnership with the Project Management Institute (pmi.org) Vancouver Island chapter, PMV-VI supports Vancouver Island nonprofit organizations by connecting them with experienced project managers, and helping them to successfully perform their projects on time, within scope and within budget - all pro bono! In addition, project management workshops tailored to the needs of nonprofit organizations are regularly offered for a modest fee throughout the year.
