2026–2027 Board Nominees

Sarah Wilson is standing for another term as President to continue strengthening PMI Vancouver Island’s strategy, governance, and member experience. She brings a focus on stable chapter operations, practical support for volunteers, and programming that reflects the real challenges project professionals face on Vancouver Island and in the Yukon. In the coming term, she aims to deepen partnerships, streamline internal processes, and ensure the chapter remains a well-run, welcoming community for both new and seasoned practitioners.

Jason Bunston is standing for another term as Vice President, Finance and Administration to continue building transparent, well-governed chapter operations. He is focused on maintaining strong financial stewardship, clear processes, and accessible reporting so that members and future leaders can easily understand how the chapter’s resources are managed. In the next term, Jason plans to further document and refine finance and administration practices, enhance the use of dashboards and visuals for Board and member insight, and support a stable operational foundation for chapter activities.

Pronob Das is running for Vice President, Professional Development with a commitment to delivering practical, engaging learning opportunities for members at all stages of their careers. He brings global project management and volunteer leadership experience and is passionate about programming that supports real-world skill development and credential attainment. In this role, Pronob plans to curate a balanced mix of events, workshops, and learning series that help members grow their capabilities and earn PDUs in a structured, accessible way.

Chelsea Turner is seeking re-election as Vice President, Operations to build on the operational improvements and events portfolio she has helped shape in recent years. She is committed to delivering well-planned, well-executed activities that provide clear professional value, networking opportunities, and a consistent experience for members. In the next term, Chelsea plans to refine event operations, support volunteers in delivering high-quality offerings, and ensure that chapter operations remain efficient, responsive, and member-centric.

Chiso Okoroafor is seeking re-election as Vice President, External Relations to continue growing PMI Vancouver Island’s presence and partnerships across the region. She is committed to building relationships with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations so that the chapter is seen as a trusted voice for project management. In the next term, Chiso plans to expand outreach initiatives, create more opportunities for members to connect with external partners, and showcase the value that project professionals bring to organizations and communities.

Christian Parise is running to continue serving as Vice President, Internal Relations, focusing on strong internal collaboration and a positive experience for volunteers and members. Drawing on his extensive leadership background, he aims to further connect the Board, committees, and volunteer teams so that everyone has the information and support they need to succeed. In the coming term, Christian plans to strengthen internal communications, enhance recognition for volunteers, and foster a cohesive, engaged chapter community.
