The PMI Vancouver Island Chapter is pleased to announce the results of the 2026 Board of Directors election. The Nominations Committee confirmed that all nominated candidates met eligibility requirements. The full slate ran unopposed (Unchallenged) in all positions. Member voting was conducted electronically.

Status Definitions:

  • Unchallenged — the position received one nominated candidate who met all eligibility criteria.

  • Challenged — the position received two or more eligible nominated candidates (none this cycle).

Confidence Rate reflects votes cast in favour as a percentage of total votes received, excluding abstentions.


Presidential Leadership Cycle

The President role at PMIVI follows a three-year leadership lifecycle:

  1. President-Elect — Learns the role and supports the current President

  2. President — Leads the chapter as the seated President

  3. Past President — Provides continuity and mentorship to the incoming President

Sarah Wilson has been elected as President-Elect for the 2026–2027 term and will begin that journey alongside the current President-Elect, who now assumes the President's chair for 2026–2027.


Election Notes

  • All candidates were confirmed eligible by the PMIVI Nominations Committee prior to the opening of the electronic vote.

  • The incoming board will assume their roles effective August 1, 2026
