Agile to Devops - Modern ways of working in the Public Sector Daniel and Brent will discuss how public sector organizations can leverage agile and devops to deliver transformations at scale. We will discuss the nuances of applying agile and devops in the context of the challenges faced by public sector organizations from unionized environments, through to procurement. Daniel and Brent will weave in case studies from around the world, and will discuss their own experience delivering projects across many of BC's public sector organizations. Speakers: Daniel Shereck B.Eng, PMP, Daniel is a management consultant, advisor, technology strategist, enterprise architect and project manager. His goal is to empower organizations by enabling business strategy through technology, where he leverages leading practices in portfolio and project management. Daniel has worked with leading consulting firms Deloitte and PWC and has led engagements with public and private companies in over 30 countries including Germany, India, Czech Republic, the US and Canada. Daniel is a resident of Victoria and chair of the Association of Enterprise Architects of BC. Brent Reed MBCS, CDAI, CSM Brent is the Founder of Tactec Strategic Solutions Inc, a digital transformation firm and Disciplined Agile Partner. Brent has held global senior technical & leadership roles for SITA, IBM, and Heathrow Airport, including designing enterprise software and infrastructure products for self-service, automation, wireless, mobile device management and predictive analytics. Brent has worked and lived in more than five countries and delivered digital transformation projects in over 22 across aerospace, telecom and finance, health and public sector industries.
